Rev. John George has a passion. His strong message of Spirit-anointed and Spirit-demonstrated ministry has inspired leaders, churches and young people to hunger for God's presence and fulfill His plans and purposes for their lives.
Now a senior pastor, John George had served for 25 years in Christian education, youth ministry and as an international evangelist. He has established a variety of ministries aimed at people of all ages. Before beginning full-time itinerating in 1989, he and his wife, Darlene, faithfully served in two local churches for over twelve years in various ministry positions.
Having traveled extensively across the U.S., Canada and abroad, John and Darlene impart a spirit of faith, prosperity, leadership and spiritual renewal in their teachings. John has personally trained thousands of church leaders from over 50 countries around the world. He has been on Christian television and radio, published numerous articles, handbooks and teaching series. He has hosted international leadership conferences, youth retreats and camps, and regional leadership seminars.
Rev. John George is one of the most sought-after youth speakers in the nation besides his engagements in churches, campmeetings, youth and family camps, and youth ministry conferences. Darlene is also an able teacher of the Word of God with signs following. Many have testified to healing, deliverance, and life-changing experiences through this Spirit-anointed ministry.
In 2004, the Georges founded Oasis School of Ministry for young men and women for hands-on ministry training. Their heart is to raise up laborers for the harvest who are grounded both in the Word of God and the move of His Spirit. They have tutored scores of ministry interns that now effectively function in full-time ministry.
John is an honorary graduate of RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He and Darlene have been married 25 years and have two adult children, a son-in-law, and two grandsons.
